Matcha Banana Porridge
This breakfast bowl is so indulgent even without chocolate! Matcha and banana, both these flavors compliment each other and makes one delicious flavor combo! Make this even more luscious by topping it with almond butter, granola and caramelized bananas. Yum!
- Rolled Oats, 1/2 cup
- Matcha Maiden Matcha Powder, 1 heaped tsp
- Spirulina, 1/2 tsp
- Almond Milk, 1 cup
- Banana, 1 (sliced lengthways, mash 1 half for the porridge)
- Ground Cinnamon, to taste
- Rice Malt Syrup, to taste
- Caramelized Banana
- Almond Butter
- Rice Malt Syrup
Place the banana on a non-stick fry pan on medium heat
Drizzle rice malt syrup and sprinkle cinnamon on the banana.
Flip the banana when it browns on the bottom.
Take off heat when both sides are browned.
Place the oats, matcha, spirulina together in a saucepan and combine.
Add the milk and mashed banana and bring to the boil.
Let simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring regularly, until the oats are cooked or to desired consistency.
Serve in your favourite Coconut Bowls and add caramelised banana and your other preferred toppings!
