Soaked Cardamom Oats
RECIPE BY ALEXANDRA ANDERSSON from @fivesechealth
Soaked Cardamom Oats. Who says cardamom can only be used in savoury dishes? Cardamom can be versatile and can be used in a variety of pastries and this time, @fivesechealth incorporated it into her oats! Very clever!
- Rolled Oats, 1/2 cup
- Plant Milk, 1/2 cup
- Dates, 2 (pitted)
- Maple Syrup, 1 tsp
- Ground Cardamom, 1/2 tsp
- Frozen Blueberries
- Cacao Nibs
- Chop the dates into small pieces and add them together with rest of the oatmeal ingredients to a jar. Stir to combine and seal. Let sit in the fridge overnight or for 30 minutes.
- When the oats are soaked, add toppings to the jar or serve the soaked oats in your favourite Coconut Bowl. Yum!
